Unable to use Conditional Text in Text box

Hi All,

I have a table with 5 names and they are added in a slicer.

I have a text box, to which I have added the selection of the filter displayed. It is working correctly.

However, I want a message in the Text Box to be "Please select a Name" when nothing is selected in the filter.

And this has to be done only in Text box.

Could you please guide me on this.

use a selectedvalue function with switch function and for false condition give a user defined text!

Text box doesn't have conditional formatting capability, but Text Box Title has try on title what exactly you want show case/present

Thanks for the response.

As you mentioned I have tried this on "Title " of the text box. It is working correctly when I select any name in the filter.

However, when nothing is selected, it is taking the first name from the Slicer list.

But I want a text like "Please select a name" to be displayed when nothing is selected.

Is this possible?
