HI @cruzp ,

Can you answer these 2 questions please:

  1. When you say you have access to this workspace  - what role do you have on this workspace? Admin, Contributor, Member or Read only?
  2. Have you got access to the the underlying datasource behind this dataset?

Hi @Pragati11 to answer ur question,

1.) Admin role is my access. Also the error happens in my own workspace to from the report that I have published there.

2.) Yes, i have access to the underlying DB.

What's the possible fix?

HI @cruzp ,

Sorry I don't understand this statement of yours: the error happens in my own workspace to from the report that I have published there.

But yes in any case you should be able to connbect to the published dataset using Power BI Datasets connector in Power BI Desktop. Because I am not able to replicate this issue at my end.

I can connect to a certified dataset from My Workspace in Power BI Desktop:

Was this working before and stopped working now?

Hi @Pragati11

I published it in my workspace, then try to connect to it using new PBI Desktop, i still face the same issue.

I have not been able to make it work before also.

Any fix?

HI @cruzp ,

As I can't replicate this issue at my end, I would suggest raise raised it with Microsoft Suppprt team:
