Unable to modfify a report directly from the server

Hi guys,

I would like to modify a report directly from the server so I right-clicked on the report in the server and did "Modify in Power Bi Desktop" but I had this error for every reports 

The message said : "Unable to open the document. An unexpected error occured"

Do you know how could I fix it ?

Hi @Anonymous,

I think you are work with the report server reports, right? If this is a case, did these reports design in report builder? Have you installed the power bi desktop report server optimizations version?

Install Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server 

AFAIK, report server contents not fully compatible with power bi desktop, please try to work with report server optimized version.
