It seems that since the last update we are unable to load anything coming from Excel.
As of this momment we are not sure if this is the result of some snafu from our server or if it is solely dependant to PBD.
The pop-up window makes mention of the following:
The provider 'Microsoft.PowerBI.OleDb' is not registered.
May I ask what would be the next step to take as to re establish full compatibility in between Power BI and Excel?
snapshot:
I did a trial with a table containing three (3) Columns and forty (40) Rows.
Using Microsoft Excel 2013 (15.0.4745.1000) MSO (15.0.475.100) 64-bit
And PBD Version: 2.26.4128.403

Send a frowny face to support and see if they can sort it out.
I am also not having any issues loading Excel data and I have the latest August updates to Desktop.
Looks like a corrupt PBI Desktop installation... Can you try re-installing?
