Unable to connect to Cosmos Db (Beta) V2 with Power Bi.

I am getting below error while connecting cosmos DB with Power BI . can any one help me to resolve the issue.

This error is coming for lower env in cosmbos and prod as well .

An exception occurred: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Hi @haripp ,

Thanks for the reply from @amitchandak . I have some more suggestions here that I hope will help you.

1. Make sure you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Download link: Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

2. Verify the Cosmos DB connection settings in Power BI. Ensure that you follow the correct steps for setup as outlined in the Microsoft documentation. Power BI tutorial for Azure Cosmos DB | Microsoft Learn

3. Here is a link to a similar issue to yours, hopefully it will be more helpful. Solved: error import data from OLE DB - Attempted to read ... - Microsoft Fabric Community

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong

@haripp , Start Power BI with Admin privileges and try. Also, increase Data Cache from File -> Options and Settings -> Options -> Data load
