Afew hours back i got solution for india chart. But unable to upload the delhi chart for assembly election analysis. If possible, please tell me how to import/upload some particular city or state map in shapemap.
Hi @Sudip_J ,
Thank you @rajendraongole1 for the helpful response!
Thanks for the update! It’s great to hear that the India map is working for you. For the Delhi region, if you’re focusing on assembly-level analysis, you’ll need a TopoJSON file that specifically includes Delhi’s assembly boundaries. Power BI Shape Map only supports TopoJSON, so if you have a GeoJSON or shapefile, you can use Mapshaper.org to convert it. Once you upload it in the Shape Map visual, make sure that the field from your dataset matches the property in the map file.
Refer the link here :Use Shape maps in Power BI Desktop
Hope this helps. If so,please give kudos and consider accepting it as solution
Hi @Sudip_J - Try using the map.topojson file instead of Delhi_map_17385...json.
Use mapshaper.org → Upload GeoJSON → Export as TopoJSON.
Open the .json file in a text editor and check for geometry and features. It should look like as attached json.
please check
Hope this helps.
