Unable to Open Document - With error message We weren't able to restore the saved database to model.

I am facing this issue from morning.

What ever PBIX file may be, When I try to open, I get the error. I even get it in a newly created file also.

I looked at this issue previously encountered messages but not able to clear it.

What version of the desktop are you running? Assuming you can open Power BI Desktop and get to the File | Options menu.

This is the Version: 2.79.5768.421 64-bit (March 2020).

FYI: i have done multiple system restarts  and also updated the power bi to latest (few seconds ago) is a hope that the fix for the issue may be released 🙂

I think you might misunderstand. I do not believe that the March 2020 version is officially released yet so you are using beta code and that could very well be where your problem lies.
