Unable to Add Delimiter Between Absolute and Percentage Change in KPI Visual
- 9 months ago
Download example file with code/visual shown below
The KPI visual doesn't offer the ability to do this.
You could use a card and create a measure to display what you want
Distance To Goal = VAR _Value = [DistanceToGoalValue] VAR _Percent = FORMAT([DistanceToGoalPercent], "0.00%") RETURN "Prev. month: " & [Target] & " (" & _Value & " | " & _Percent & ")"Regards

Hii Radha25
The built-in KPI visual doesn’t let us customize the format of the delta line, so we can’t directly insert a delimiter between the absolute and % change.
You can use this to calculate both values with DAX and build your own text:
Abs Change = [Current] - [Previous] Pct Change = DIVIDE([Abs Change], [Previous]) Change Text = FORMAT([Abs Change], "#,0") & " | " & FORMAT([Pct Change], "0.00%")Then show Change Text in a Card visual (next to or instead of the KPI). This will display it like (-522 | -0.49%), but it’s not possible to change the internal KPI format itself.
