Hi all,
i created a report based on data imported from SharePoint list. Now i tried sheduling an autorefresh for the date set, but it keeos telling me there's an issue with the credentials. But neither of the selection (windows,Auth2 or anonymous) does work. When connecting the data source in PowerBI desktop only microsoft account works. So i assume the error relies in the fact that online i can't even select microsoft account as credential type.
Is there way to resolve this issue?
Best regards,
Stefan
It's a default SSO credentials signon so it should have worked. Strange.. not sure the cause but its working now.
@Greg_Deckler refreshing was working now I'm getting error "can't autenicate credentials.." when refreshing share point list from PBI. The list was originally created using the free trial. Created a sp list then imported into PBI data source never had any issues until yeterday. I am a pro user. I am using the on premise version.
@leap Try updating/editing the credentials. I swear, I have seen SharePoint connections randomly lose their minds around the authentication but generally just re-entering them fixes it.
Is this SharePoint Online or on-premises? And which SharePoint connector did you use specifically?
