Hello All,
I have a Power BI Report which is sourcing from Sql view in direct query method. My Report columns are
1. Product name 2. Sale Date/Time 3. Sales Amount
My requirement is when there is change in Sale Date/Time column , i want to trigger an email to user with a note saying "Total sales are xxx as of whatever time that is changed".
Please help me know how this can be achieved
TIA
A report only visualizes data, and only when a user looks at it. You need to track your changes in your dataset or further upstream. In your case that would mean you would need a trigger in SQL that would then initiate your process. Alternatively you can use Power Automate to run a schedule to check if the criteria has been met.
