I created a line chart and need the trend line to show up, but it just doesn't. The x-axis is set to Continuous, the option "Trend Line" under the Analytics tab is available and enabled, and the trend line is not "hidding" under the actual chart line. It simply does not appear.
Does anyone know what to do?

Hi @MatheusReato ,
I have reproduced your issue. Please remove the date column from x-axis and re-add the date column and do not change the format as it shows the date hierarchy by default. Changing back from date to date hierarchy is causing the issue.

Hi @MatheusReato ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
I have created a sample line chart and enabled trend. PFBS for reference. Also attached the pbix file.
Could you please provide more details so I can suggest a better solution, Specifically, how are you creating your line chart, are there any slicers or filters applied on the page, and which version of Power BI Desktop are you using?

Hi, @v-sathmakuri
Thank you very much for your prompt reply.
Basically, I have a table of items that each has a value "A" and a "Created Date", and I want to monitor the monthly evolution of "A" (the average of "A" for each month and for each year). So I added the Date field to the X-Axis (which was automatically set to Continuous) and the Average of "A" to the Y-Axis. The option for the trend line was then available, so I enabled it, but with no effect. The line simply refuses to appear, even with the "Trend Line" button enabled.
The chart has some slicers that allows me to filter the analysis by Region, Market Segment, Period, etc, all data that is contained within each item along with the "A" value and Date. However, they don't seem to have an effect on the trend line, as it still does not appear no matter what the slicers are set to.
I'm using Power BI Desktop version 2.140.1078.0 64-bit (February 2025).
I analyzed the file you sent, and I seem to be doing exactly the same thing, with the exception that my Date field on the X-Axis is actually a hierarchy.
Thanks again for the response!
