Transform Data

When I click on the Transform Data button or attempt to transform new data the window does not open.  I am using version 2.138.1004.0 64 bit November 2024.

Hi @wbentley ,

If possible, please provide us with some screenshots about your issue.

I have below questions to make a confirmation.

Is your transofrm data button greyed out?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Desktop? In general, common problems can be solved by this method.

Does your transform data displaying blank mean a single report, or if all of the reports don't work on your Power BI Desktop?

i have uninstalled and re-installed the desktop application several times to no avail.  The Transform Data button is NOT greyed out. It does not respond.  Also, when trying to get new data when you click on the Transform data button it skips to pending changes.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried to open a new blank report? Please check if you can enter Power Query in the new report.

is it possible you're a report with live connection, so you don't dataset but you're reading it from service.

this is the desktop application not the service.
