Transform Data content and Data Viewer do not match

When you perform several steps in Transform Data, I verify that the data is correct to apply and close. Then I go to the data viewer of the main pane and the data is not the same. I transform data again and the data is correct. I try to update multiple times to see if it stretches the correct data but it doesn't work.pbi.png

I can't retrieve the original format. I could use your help very much.

Thanks a lot!

@Syndicate_Admin - The data in Transform data is just a representation of the data based upon the first 1,000 rows or so. Once you close and apply though, all of the data will be imported.

HI @mambo7,

I'd like to suggest you check these values to confirm if they exist in your table first.
AFAIK, current power query table only shows the preview of the query steps processing result, it does not show all of your records. (it get some records as snapshot from your data source when you connect to the data source)

If you want to keep raw table row structure, you can add an index column to your data source, then you can use this as sort order fields to keep raw orders.

Xiaoxin Sheng
