Hello there,
is there a way to move grand totals to the top in a table without using hierarchys? I would like to apply to all tables in the report and creating that many hierarchies might not be that easy.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Find the visual as you shown above is Matrix visual but not a table visual. It is not supported to move the grand total to the top of table , or the top of Matrix visual without using hierarchy.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future. We also submitted this feedback to the product group internally, so that the product group can pay attention to this problem and speed up the issue repairing.

I have used as a workaround a number of small Card visuals aligned with the columns above the tables with no labels. This can work graphically also very well as you have the flexibility of the individual card settings. Gives you right away a summary like view above the table on the information. Use same filter for all related data, so numbers stay aligned when filtered.
