Hi all,
Unfortunately due to security reasons I'm unable to share the visuals fully however it looks something like this -
A is a slicer
B, C are two Top N visuals
D is a simple table displaying rows based on selection from A, B, or C.
Data is about usage metrics on our internal sharepoint sites.
However the results in D from slicer selection in A are different from selections in B, C. For example, if I select Human Resources in the slicer, I see far more webpages compared to when I select Human Resources in the bar charts. I'm guessing this has something to do with the bar charts being Top N? But I don't seem to fully understand the inner workings. Can someone please explain?
Check you TOP N condition, Sometimes we end up with having different conditions for top n and slicers.
Top N in those visuals isn't a calculation or a measure. It's simply a visual filter setting in the report. Other than the bar charts showing Top 10 sites by users and views, and the slicer containing all sites, there are no additional conditions that differentiate slicer and bar charts
