Hi - Is there any way that tooltip will appear once the user clicks instead of hovering? In the table, we are using Tooltips for each row but the challenge we are facing is that it is disturbing the screen as in hover automatically tooltips are displaying.
Is there any control to open the tooltip only by clicking?
As per my knowledge there is no such inbuild functionality in Power BI Desktop,
But as a workaround solution you can make this possible using bookmarks, buttons and Custom tooltip combinely, this very much tedious task to achieve specially for table visual. If you want to limit the data displayed while hovering you can use custom tooltip and can show only limited data.
I dont know how people answer without reading question, there should be a dislike button for answers like these.
Hello @Anjuchhabra ,
You could add a tooltip page.
check this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-tooltips?tabs=powerbi-desktop
If I answered your question, please mark my post as solution so it would appeare to others, Appreciate your Kudos👍

hi @Idrissshatila i've done this, but I also want it to be available on click only. I can't see an option to do this?
