Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with my Power BI report when viewing it in the Power BI Mobile app. The default tooltip that works perfectly on desktop does not appear at all in the mobile version of the report.
I have tooltips set up on visuals (like cards, bar charts, etc.)
Tooltips display correctly in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (web browser)
However, when I view the report in the Power BI Mobile app (iOS/Android), the tooltips do not show up
I’ve ensured that the tooltip page is correctly configured and the visuals have "Tooltip" enabled
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Are there specific limitations or settings required for tooltips to work on mobile?
Appreciate any help or suggestions.

1. Make sure you're using the latest version of the Power BI Mobile app — older versions might have bugs or lack support for newer features like tooltips.
2. Cards and KPIs won’t display tooltips in the mobile app. Try using bar charts, multi-row cards, or tables instead, as they work well with tooltips.
3. If you're using a custom tooltip page, double-check that the page size is set to “Tooltip.” Then, on the visual, go to Format > Tooltip, set the type to "Report page," and select your tooltip page.
4. Use the Mobile Layout view in Power BI Desktop (View > Mobile layout) to rearrange and resize visuals so they’re optimized for smaller screens.
5. On mobile, tooltips appear with a tap or tap-and-hold — not hover like on desktop. Also, make sure the device has a screen width of at least 640 pixels, or tooltips might not show.
6. If tooltips still aren’t showing, try switching back to the default tooltip (disable the custom tooltip page) and republish the report. Reconfiguring the tooltip settings on the visual can also help.
