Toggle Legend for Map

I have a simple map, populated with longitude, latitude, with the legend linked to a column in my data table.

I would like to create some kind of function which allows the 'legend' to exchanged for another column in my table. Maybe a button, or a filter.

Columns in my table are:

  • Longitude
  • Latitude
  • Office Type (the current legend)
  • Office Condition (proposed alternate legend)

Is this possible? Any help much appreciated!

@shaunmag you have to create another visual and then use bookmark to toggle between visuals. there is not other dynamic way to do this.

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Hi @shaunmag

I had to do three visuals for a project and the below linked worked just perfect for the purpose.

I echo @parry2k suggestion of using bookmarks.

Thanks for this - it works, but it also resets all other filters on the page which kind of defeats the whole point.

Is there really no way at all in PowerBI to just hide / remove a particular visual without going through bookmarks?

@shaunmag I don't think so, that's kinda the whole point of bookmarks.
