Hello @ all,

are there currently any possibilites to customize the events shape or size?

Moreover, are there any possibilites to provide an URL in "Context Text" which can be opened by mouseover->click?

As far as I know, there is no built-in options in Timeline storytsller that can be used to change the event shape/size and enter link URL of text. 

However, open source project of this custom visual has been released in https://github.com/Microsoft/timelinestoryteller, you can customize the code to meet your requirements.

is it within the bonds of possibility for somebody who's quite new to these topics, to realize a customization of the code.

Do you have any recommendations where / how i can get deeper into this topic or where i can get some guidance to that?
