Time intelligence discrepancy

Hi,

I have added 2 measures in my report using Time Intelligence to calculate Total sales of last year today.

*Sales Last year = CALCULATE([Sales];DATEADD('Calendar'[Date];-1;YEAR))
*Sales YTD Last Year = CALCULATE(SUM(SALES_HISTORY_HEADER[BVSUBTOTAL]);DATESBETWEEN(SALES_HISTORY_HEADER[IN_DATE];[First day of previous year];TODAY()-365))

In my report these 2 measures give the same exact Data in a table(Rows) but the total is different.

I could not understand where this discrepancy coming from which of the formulas is more reliable?

Please advise

Hi @aj1973 ,

You can try this measure:

Sales YTD Last Year =
CALCULATE (
    SUMX (
        FILTER (
            SALES_HISTORY_HEADER;
            DATESBETWEEN (
                SALES_HISTORY_HEADER[IN_DATE];
                [First day of previous year];
                TODAY () - 365
            )
        );
        SALES_HISTORY_HEADER[BVSUBTOTAL]
    )
)

Could you please share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
