Time Parameter fields not interacting

Good afternoon,

I have a question regarding parameter fields in PBI specificly Time parameters. The problem is as follows i have 3 tables each having a different field Monthly, Weekly, Daily. they all originate from the same date table aswell, but for some reason when selecting one of the fields in a table the other tables will return blank.

could someone explain why this is happening?

Hi @Anonymous ,

The function you are talking about is called highlighting, which only works on fields in entity tables. Field parameter itself is not an entity table, so highlighting does not work on Field parameter. You can only put Field parameter in one visual object and put fields in the original table in other visual objects to achieve highlighting filtering.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I didn't see the table with the problem you mentioned in the pbix you provided, and I tested it myself and there was no problem.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to look into it. Yes in a slicer the paramiters will work but, if you put 4 different time parameters in 4 different visuals.
Supposedly if you select one value like the month november the idea would be that if the weekly and daily field woud be in a different visual they would interact and change to only shows the weeks and days of november.
