Hello Community,
I'm trying to crack the code on DAX to subtract a previous from a next.
In my example, using the data in the image, I need to subtract the 'Latest Time' from 'Run ID' 1 from the 'Earliest Time' from 'Run ID' 2. (This example would be 7:32AM - 7:29AM.)
Any help with this would be appreciated!!

Hi @wayersGM
Try this measure:
Measure =
VAR _Start =
MAX ( 'Table'[Earliest Time HrMin] )
VAR _End_Last =
CALCULATE (
MAX ( 'Table'[Latest Time] ),
FILTER ( ALL ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Run ID] = MAX ( 'Table'[Run ID] ) - 1 )
)
RETURN
IF ( MAX ( 'Table'[Run ID] ) - 1 = 0, BLANK (), _End_Last - _Start )
Output:
