I read a lot about Time Intelligence but still don't understand the mechnisim of each formula.
How the enging works exactly with DATESYTD.
What is the different between the tow folloing formulas?
Total Year To Date Internet =
TOTALYTD( SUM(FactInternetSales[SalesAmount]), 'DATE'[Date])
YTD2 Internet =
TOTALYTD( SUM(FactInternetSales[SalesAmount]), DATESYTD('DATE'[Date]))
Thanks Giora

You may take a good look at https://www.sqlbi.com/blog/marco/2018/08/10/the-hidden-secrets-of-totalytd/.
Yes I read the articles and others. They give example but I didn't find the technical explanation of how it works.
So I can't understand the difference between the tow examples I gave.
