Time Intelligence Visual

Hi,

I am trying to display YTD LY, MTD, and Current Year YTD in the same visual (client requirement). Something like below: 

Measures: 

YTD_Yield= 

if([Total_Yield] =BLANK(), BLANK(), CALCULATE(TOTALYTD([Total_Yield],'Calendar'[Date])))

LY YTD = 

CALCULATE([YTD_Yield], SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Calendar'[Date]))

MTD Yield = CALCULATE(TOTALMTD([Total_Yield],'Calendar'[Date])))

All the values are in %.

Any advise, tips/tricks would be great!

Hi @PowerBuddy1 ,

This is possible but very finnicky. You'll have to create another dimension table with rows for YTD and months so it can hold the said values. You can use my sample pbix to help you get started. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bbdDlwd1xAe0F37iYWHEik7s33l1vcxc/view?usp=sharing

It is possible to acheive but it is complicated to produce and maintain and really not recommended. When I see requests for this it is normally a carry over from an existing Excel report.

Could you talk the user/s into using the drill functionality rather than trying to include it all in the single view?
