Hello,
I have a table in the visual pane. This table combine the information of at least three diffent tables. Now, my client would like that I sort the results showed in this table by
a) total project amount (descending)
b) Project Number (alphanumeric)
c) Project phase
such as below:
Project amount Project Phase index
5000 B 1 1
4999 A 1 2
4999 A 2 3
Does someone know how to calculate the index using DAX.

After merging your tables on a unique ID (or another index column), you can click on "Add Column" in the Query Editor and then "Index Column."

You are proposing a nice solution. But what do we do if the amout (your column 1 ) is a key measure calculated from two tables ex:
