This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client components install

Hello Team Smiley Happy

I am facing issues with my Power BI report Smiley Happy

An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client components installed.'

I updated ODAC (ODAC112040Xcopy_64bit) but facing same issues/error. Smiley Happy

Please give a quick solution. Smiley Happy

Hi ndc_ctr,

This may caused by a mispatch between 32-bit version and 64-bit version component. What's your power bi desktop version? If you are using 32-bit version, you should install 64-bit version instead. Please refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-connect-oracle-database#installing-the-oracle-clie.... In addtion, install 32-bit mode Oracle client instead of 64-bit Oracle client.
