I have trouble connecting to the PostgreSQL database which is being hosted on Linux Virtual Machine in Amazon intrastructure.
I am using lastest (Feb 2021, also tried Nov 2020 and Dec 2020) version of Power BI and I am connecting from Windows VM that is located in the same network as the Linux VM is. Database is fully accessible from Windows VM using any kind of third party database tool.
Error I encounter:
The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.
As a mitigation I tried setting up and using ODBC connector for PostgreSQL and it works without issues reading data from the same database as I tried native connector on.
Since I am not the first person encountering similar problem on AWS infrastructure, I already tried:
None of above solutions yields any sings of improvements or possible success.

@Dodzik , I faced this issue because I did not convert the certificate and did not import it in the right manner.
Make sure you followed the last 2 steps correctly (second on your list)
