The query has exceeded the available resources

Hello,

 

I am importing the 5 million data from lakehouse sql end point, data is imported but in table visual i am facing an issue  i am not able to fetch all the columns in table visual.

can you please suggest what is wrong here. I am using free version.

Hi @YogitaDhuri21 Power BI visuals (like a Table) have a hard limit.Tables and Matrix visuals only render up to 30,000 rows by default.Even if your model has 5 million rows, the visual itself won't show all 5M.

 

suggestion

Try filtering your Table visual to a small set (for example: Top 1000 rows, or 1 month of data).

Try removing unnecessary columns from your Table visual.

Monitor dataset size: Go to File > Options and Settings > Options > Data Load settings to see memory usage.

Showing 5 million rows at once is excessive. Will your users really have time to scroll through that many records?

I recommend adding slicers to limit the number of visible rows, along with a warning that displaying all rows at once could lead to resource issues.

Hi @YogitaDhuri21 , power bi has a 1 million row limit if you are using direct query
