The measure from Summarized table is not filtering out by the slicer in original table.

I have a table showing individual customer transactions by location. The table has following  colummns.

I created two summarized tables from this table.

Full_transactions_by_customer_Summarized by location =

SUMMARIZE(mv_full_transactions_by_customer, mv_full_transactions_by_customer[Month & Year],mv_full_transactions_by_customer[location], "Impact Revenue", SUM(mv_full_transactions_by_customer[revenue_impact]))

Full_transactions_by_customer_Summarized by customer =

SUMMARIZE(mv_full_transactions_by_customer, mv_full_transactions_by_customer[Month & Year],mv_full_transactions_by_customer[customer],

"Impact Revenue", SUM(mv_full_transactions_by_customer[revenue_impact]))

Created measures using columns in these summarized tables & tried to filter it using "Internal/External" column. But those measures are not filtered by the slicer.

Could anyone pls help me to solve this problem.

Hi  @Anonymous,

Calculated tables, as in Modeling/New Table/Type stuff in dax, is a "static" table.  It will not respond to filters.

If you want your table to respond to filters, you can use the following methods to solve:

1. Create a bridge table to connect the two tables through the bridge table to create a relationship.

2. Include the Calculate Table function in the target Measures.

@Anonymous , the New table will not be impacted by slicer values on the original tbale. You need to join this new table with common dimensions, you want to filter
