The Add new parameter option under modelling tab is greyed out , How to enable that ?

Sorry can't use it within Live connection. You can enable it in the dataset pbix.

Because using Azure Analysis Services mean that you cannot do any additional modelling, other than what the server gives you. Notice that New Table and New Column are disabled as well.
