Text Input for Direct Query

Hello,

I am looking for this functionality on a PBI Report; where the user can enter text in a search box, and that queries directly to MySql DB, the dataset is then loaded and populates the existing reports.

is this possible?

Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know, there is no such function on a PBI Report at present but you can come up a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.

There might be another way that can help you: manage parameters to filter data in Query Editor.

Result would be changed once we change the value of parameter:
