Text Filter Visualization Not Working When Live/Direct Connected w/ SQL Server Analysis Services DB

The subject line describes problem w/ the text filter slicer.  This same text filter functions as expected w/ imported data sources.  

Are there other text filters/slicers available that function w/ live connect to cube data structure?

PBIVIZ file is "textFilter(LIKE).textFilter25A4896A83E0487089E2B90C9AE57C8A.1.2.1.0 (5)".

Yes I think we are referring to the same visual (icons match but I have a different file name)....
