Anonymous , If your tabular editor 2 is properly installed, you should be able to open the same using external tools in power bi desktop.

In case you want to connect to a dataset on service. You will able in case of power bi premium using XMLA end point and workspace URL

How do I know if it is properly installed? It is an option in external tools and I can open it  through pwer bi.
