Table Visualization and Report Filter Exclusion

Hi,

I have   a situation, hope someone can give me valuable guidance to achieve what I want.

I have built a report which has Years as Filter. All the KPIs I have in that report should use Years filter; and these are working as expected. However I need to have a table visualization (Not Matrix) which has columns from various tables. But I want to exclude Years filter for the table alone, as I need to show the sales details for the entire Product List in the inventory. But I have Slicer for Product Type; this slicer should be used for filtering the Table.

So in Summary, I want to exclude Filters applied at report level but in the meantime I should be able to use the Slicers widget in conjuction.

@aruntd77 You can use slicer for Years as well instead filter. Then in power bi desktop select Years slicer and click Visual Tools -> Edit Interactions then select None for all visuals for which you don't want to apply that slicer (in your case table visual). Similarly do for Product Type slicer as required.
