Hi,
I have an issue and i can't figure out why it's like that:
Data Source: SQL Server Analysis Services - Cubes
Connection: Direct Query - Live Conection
Access Rights to DB: Read Rights
I can't figure out what is the issue in this case. Visual contains multiple values(Cube Dimensions), everything is correct, but once i add one more dimension i can only see the Total but not all values, if i remove that dimension i can see values and Total.
If it would be secuery issue then i wouldn't be able to see any values. I know that these dimensions have relationships - hierarchy, we use the same data source to report the same data via IBM Cognos but we are moving to Power BI.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Hi @RIOZRIhards
I cannot reproduce the same issue as you said. It's better you can describe the steps you did. You may also check the measures in the report.
Regards,
Cherie
Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately i can't check the measures, they are part of the SSAS Server, i can use them, but i can't see what's behind it, DAX. Also the Query editor is not even avaiable, a lot of functions are not available due to the fact that it's Multidimensional Server, Cube based not Tabular.
Also i haven't done any steps at all. Everything was done on the server, formating, measures and every other step.
Working with Multidimensional SSAS Servers is a bit different.
