Hello,
I want to sort my columns in the power bi table however it does not make any change when I tried to sort ascending or descending. I use matrix visual.
Basically, it does not affect sorting when I make the arrow down or up. Could you please help me to understand why it does not work?Doesn't power bi provide an option to easily like in excel?
Thank you!
Hi @GrimReaperX
Please share a sample file, without seeing it, it is very difficult to diagnose the problem.
Generally, you can try to see your sort options from here:
Or if it is not ABC order or your country isn't text data type you need to add a column to sort it and modify from the data view :
To give a more accurate answer, i need to see the data and what you're trying to accomplish
Thank you for your reply Ritaf. I cannot unfortunately share as it is sensitive data. But I have the table in matrix where i have Country and counts. When i try to sort it by country in Matrix table, it does not sort based on anything. I want to sort it with the triangle near each column. It is also possible to do it in table visual but not matrix.
thank you.
Hi @GrimReaperX
As i mentioned to help more i need some data to work with ..
It can be some dummy example with same logic.
