Is there a way to Filter a table using DAX outside of creating a new table every time? I wuold simply like to filter the table im a working with using Dax and without editing the Query itself in Power Query M.
This is exactly what FILTER and CALCULATE have been designed for. May I sugest you to spend some time on the Introducing DAX video we created for DAX newbies? It provides a good basic introduction to the DAX language and it doesn't hurt that it is completely free.
Have fun with DAX!

@Anonymous,
Could you please share sample data of your table and post expected result here? Also check if you can use slicer to achieve the requirement.

Lydia
