Table Databars with color coding - custom visual?

I am trying to find a way to add colors based on a categorical variable to data bars on a table visual. Below is an example of what I need it to look like but the colors for the data bars in car sales YoY must correspond to the region that the market is in. For example if the market is west then blue, central red, east coast yellow. Users must be able to have the option to sort by population as well. Is there a custom visual that I can use to accomplish this?

Market	Car sales % YoY	Population
Los Angeles	==========	3,800,000
Chicago	========	2,700,000
Detroit	=====	630,000

Unfortunately, this functionality is unsupported.

There is some workaround to combine it with a regular bar chart

My personal recommendation is just to use a matrix with your wanted areas, I explained here why :

I've done it for other reports in the past but a matrix next to the chart will not work in this case. Users need to be able to have the option to sort the bars by the % YoY value that the bars visualize or population which would be the numbers to the right of it. That's why I was curious if it had been accomplished with a custom visual.
