Table Calculations

Hello!

I'm trying to recerate a Tableau report in Power BI. The report has come table calculations like Wimdow_Sum, Window_Avg.

Is there a way to perform such table calcuations in Power BI?

Thanks

DAX mathematical documentation can be found here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/query-bi/dax/math-and-trig-functions-dax

You'll find SUM,SUMX,AVERAGE,AVERAGEX will be the ones to start with. It's probably worthwhile to learn the CALCULATE function as well.

Thank you. Was able to recreate all table calculations using SUMX, AVERAGEX, CALCULATE and VAR-RETURN.

Hello MK, could you please let me know what your equivalent function was for this ?

Awesome, glad to help. If you could mark my suggestion as a solution to help future people with a similar question, that'd be great.

Done 🙂
