Does the Tabular Model scripting language work in Power BI desktop;?  If not, I think it should.

One of our biggest modeling problems is reprroducing about 3 dozen time transformation functions on each model.  I'm thinking the scripting language would fix that

I think it might, but have not had a need yet.  I do know that you can connect to Analysis Services and leverage it for data.  I think just using some aditional options during the initial connection could meet your needs.

Have you seen this window when connecting to Analysis Services?  Have you tried adding your Scripting there?
