TAU Calculation in Power - Values are slight out for each instant

Hi Experts

I have been trying to follow the following write-up which was done by Greg Deckler a Superuser on this forum.

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/Kendall-s-Tau/td-p/625107

The link explains how to work out the TAU value for two varibale with your data ranked in order to work out both the Concordant and Discordant Values and then work out the corressponding TAU value.

I want to make the Tau Dynamic based on filter criteria.

See my example file.

I have managed to re create the calculation for TAU using DAX and following Greg, method step by step, but i am getting slight difference in my final TAU value for any instant.

cannot see the wood for the trees as to why.

open up the PBIX file from link provided

1. go to tab Post Market Surveillance Trending

2. refer to either Tau and or Tau Test measures in table folder

3. see output from R as to what the correct Tau value should be

4. the data points entered into R and used in Power BI to generate the TAu value are show in the table and graph to the left on first tab.

Sample Data

No this was supposed to be step to in the sequence.

YOu can either delete or link the two questions as one.

@Anonymous what we are going to merge this with or delete? Which is the other post?
