Hello! I have two matrices on a single page. Each matrix has the identical product hierarchy where Clothes is the first level and Shirts and Pants are the second level. One matrix represents Men's clothes, the other represents Women's clothes. I have been asked to create a dashboard where if a user drill down in one matrix to the second hierarchy level, the other matrix responds and also drills to the second level. Referring to the below screen grab, I would need the Man's matrix to automatically show Shirts and Pants under the Clothes header after drilling down one level in the Women's matrix.
My actual dashboard has a 6 level hierarchy with a minimum of 12 items per hierarchy level but I thought I should show the below screen grab as a simplified version for explanation purposes.
Thanks!

Currently, you have 6 level hierachy in your matrix visuals. PaulDBrown 's method is inconvenient when you need to sync multiple hierarchical structures. For example , when you need sync two level will have (5+4+3+2+1=15) possibilities.
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI: Idea
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
