Sync slicers of different type and content

HI All

I have a calendar table, where I have 2 columns for month: month number and mont name. I need to use these 2 columns for slicing and the slicers should be synchronized. One slicer should be type Between and other Dropdown list.

Is it posible to synchronize these two slicers? (differnet pages, the same page)

I tried to do this, but was not sucessfull. I added these two slicer to one or more pages, after that in the Sync Slicers pane, I set in the Advanced part one group with the same name. But after this setting both slicers change to same type - means that the type change was aplied to other slicer. Have tried to change the setting with additional option Sync field changes.... or Sync filter change.... but this not worked.

Any idea how to do this?

thanks

"Sync slicers"  is limited to slicers with the same name and the same source.

will the sync slicers work if i have two tables say "sales" and "target" and both have a date column and are kept as slicers in one single page . if i choose "2018" in 'slicer1' which is from sales table and the 'slicer2' should automatically gets selected with the year "2018".

I have referred this from powerbi documentation but still it is not working. Any suggestion or ideas would be good
