We have multiple dashboards in our account in PowerBI web app and we want to sync that data to the desktop application. I logged in to the account but there is no data in it. What is the correct way to sync the data from web app to desktop?

Things you can do:
Download the pbix from the service
Connect to the semantic model using a live connection or direct query
There is an option to import a pbix file from a OneDrive or SharePoint folder but the additional settings only allow synching the semantic model from the changes in OneDrive or SharePoint with the Service's and not in both directions.
Connect the desktop file to the already uploaded semantic model from the published version of the report
you can build a new report on this published semantic model or you could try and change the source (powerquery) to the already made report.
Hi @devstoryous
In Power BI you build in Desktop first and then publish to the Service, so dashboards from the web won’t show up in Desktop. To edit an existing report, you’ll need the PBIX file either the original one or by downloading it (if the workspace allows). If download is blocked, ask the report owner for the PBIX.
