Switching between two different data sets with the help of slicer

Hello Folks,

I have two data reports for two different months(June and July) and i have the same visuals built in two different BI reports which are pointing to the same fields/columns.

June--> June Model

July --> July Model

Both the reports have same visualizations pointing to same columns but differnce being the data.

Question is how i can switch between these data in one dashboard by simple changing just say slicer(where you selct June and it should point to June data and show the visualizations and viceversa to July)

I think Bookmark helped me resolve this issue and moreover i was able to update the Bookmarks as the work progresses.

i have even tried adding parameter and changing the data source depending on the parameter selection but for some reason it didnt work for me.

I think it is impossible to switch between these data in one dashboard by a slicer.

Reason 1: Slicers can not take effect for two different reports. And slicer is matched by fields.

Reason 2: There is no bookmark button on the dashboard. And you cannot edit the contents of dashboard.

Can you do it in other ways, such as using bookmarks in a report or manipulating data in the same report?
