Summary table from a table filtered by a variable

Hi,

I am trying the following:

I have build a pareto chart for production stops by doing the following:

I have a master table from which I created a Calculated table - filtering it by failure type.

From that table I built a 'Summary BD' table - summarizing the production stops by type.

Up to this point all works fine.

Question now is how I can add a date picker slicer to this 'Summary BD' - as it is summarized it holds not weeknumbers?

My idea was to have a slicer to pick the date - read in the value of the slicer and then build the 'Summary BD' table by using a FILTER command to set the weeknumber equal to the slicer value.

Another thing I thought about was using a relationship between tables - the only problem there is that it will not give unique relationships.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to store the slicer value in a variable or measure you can use in a filter?

You may use SELECTEDVALUE Function to store the slicer value in a variable.
