Summarize average of highest attemps

I have a student score table

SessionStudentScore
MorningA6
MorningA10
MorningB6
AfternoonC8
AfternoonC4
AfternoonC9
AfternoonD4
AfternoonD6

and I can report the highest score for each student

SessionStudentHighest Score
MorningA10
MorningB6
AfternoonC9
AfternoonD6

How do I calculate the average of the highest score for each session ?

SessionAverage
Morning8
Afternoon7.5

I managed to get the measure to work.

Avg Score = AVERAGEX(SUMMARIZE(Table, [Session],[Name],"Score",MAX(Table[Score])),[Score])

The problem with the previous measure has to do with using SUMMARIZECOLUMN instead of SUMMARIZE.

I tried this but it gives an error

Avg Score = AVERAGEX(SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(Table[Student],"Score",MAX(Table[Score])),[Score])

Hi, try this one

Average = AVERAGEX(SUMMARIZE([Student], MAX([Score]))

I managed to get the measure to work.

Avg Score = AVERAGEX(SUMMARIZE(Table, [Session],[Name],"Score",MAX(Table[Score])),[Score])

The problem with the previous measure has to do with using SUMMARIZECOLUMN instead of SUMMARIZE.

I think there are a syntax errors
