SummariseColumns Behaviour with and without a filter/aggregate

Hey all,

Was doing some work with Pagentated reports and noticed that its default is Summarisecolumns, however, noticed the results it provided without an aggregate was the combination of every possible group by every possible group, even if the relationships wouldn't have made sense. I'm curious, why does it do this?

Any opinions would be appricated.

@Anonymous , relation in the model is used. Otherwise cross join distinct values should be returned

So you're saying that the cross join isn't applied until the filter/aggregate is introduced? otherwise its just returing distinct combinations, even if they don't exist within the model?
