Sum total vs column total sum

This might be simple but need some help. I am trying to get a sum total of the column individual part cost x qty applied to ppm which should be a total of $2,543,433 but the total calculation shows $61815531900.79383, which is not what i want. Can anyone help me what i am doing wrong. Thanks

Hi ChenuSing

It is a Table

INDIVIDUAL_PART_COST x QTY_APPLIED_TO_PPM = SUM('CQMS_MNC_DATA_V'[INDIVIDUAL_PART_COST]) * SUM('CQMS_MNC_DATA_V'[QTY_APPLIED_TO_PPM])

Hi @Anonymous ,

Remove the sum in your expression . It should be

INDIVIDUAL_PART_COST x QTY_APPLIED_TO_PPM = ('CQMS_MNC_DATA_V'[INDIVIDUAL_PART_COST]) * ('CQMS_MNC_DATA_V'[QTY_APPLIED_TO_PPM])

Check it out and let me know.

Cheers
