I've got a table like the picture below, default table in powerbi.

Is it possible to get a sum of each name in the table, like in the picture below?
is this possible? how?

Measure = IF(ISINSCOPE(Table1[Date]),MAX(Table1[Desc]),BLANK())

thanks for your answer and example. Sadly I cant seem to reproduce it. I compared your pbix and also tinkered in it, but I dont see how you did it. As I try it, I always end up with this:

Edit: Nevermind I got it, I just had to expand the names.
Edit2: I see now that the example I chose was too simple.
What I really want is something like this:
But the row with the names should not contain anything in the "Desc." colums.
